Damn this commuting, I don't need a sidestand anymore the rear is so flat.

I have another Diablo rear on they way. Never tried Pirelli until I got the S4R, they seemed OK so I stuck with them. The Corsa III's are a pretty serious tyre for the road, do they make that much of a difference, or do you guy's running them do track days as well?

melvin, if you're seat comes loose at the latch, put a couple of washers under the latch between it and the subframe and your problem should be solved.

latch has been fixed as well     actually i've changed the spring for a stiffer one, put a washer at the end and voila! sit is fixed



............now i can start throwing my bike in the corners like a boy-racer. maybe that's what was cramping my style?        what style???   he he

I'd agree, I've got about 5000ish from the road rear and the power front, and they're both nearly shagged.

Now I have a new Pilot Power on the Front and a Pilot Road 2 on the back I am amazed....

Amazed at how much more effort I have to put into turning the bike that I did with the Bridgestones.

Anyone else fount this sort of thing - The Powers are nice but I really have to push through the corners. So different to the Bridgestones where I just thought about turning and hey presto, I was through the corner!

yeah mine are a little bit slower
but that is cause I am now on a 120/70 not 60
I can deal with that because compared to the Diablo they are GREAT...

rusty did you go on the michilin web site you should have gone for the pilot powers ct it exsplains it there in what tire does in lean angles

Yeah, I've had the 2ct before and they are good to ride on but don't last long - same as the Pilot Power - Maybe I am just too hard on my tyres....

It is not the lean angle that is strange - I have a Pilot Power on the front so good lean angle there - it is just way harder to turn into a corner - I think it is more the profile that is different - The Bridgestone BT14's turned in fast.....

Just have to get used to it - Will try the Pirellis next time I think

Yeah I was thinking about the new Diablo Rosso
I don't need anything more aggressive than that.
Only problem was they (Flywheels) didn't have stock of a 160 rear.
They were to new to the market.
If the Pilot Powers go that quickly I might give them a go next time.

Yeah, I'll put them aside for later this year Bazz. Planning to be down there for a week around Oct/Nov.

I agree with the Bridgestones R_usty. I had 014 and then the 015 on my last bike. I could tell the S4R turned in slower/ seemed more stable, I put it down to the bike, but the Pirelli's could be adding to that. The rear especially was a totally different profile, more angular.
