But Mike Darnell, chief of alternative programming at Fox, said everyone who participates in the show knows fully what they are doing.

But if your boss decides the company is going to do the show does that mean that you automatically don't get fired if you choose not to participate?  I don't think the participants have much choice in the matter.

Well, if you have access to HBO, then Eastbound and Down will most likely top 30 Rock.  Eastbound and Down is by far the funniest shit I have ever seen.

As for the Fox bullshit, that is just make the beast with two backsed up.  Who would watch that?
