These sort of situations have been happening so often lately i'm wondering if it's me or if people are really getting that desperate/anxious.

one of the sales reps called me this morning asking me to take care of an order that supposedly came in for my co-worker yesterday.
the customer wants the product overnight. i go to create the order but the system stops me as soon as i put in their customer number. they are on a high level credit hold. basically there are 2 people that can remove this without them paying. they are many levels above me.

the e-mail that I sent him said the following
"The reason their order wasn't processed is because they are on credit hold. I'm sure (co-worker) contacted the credit rep already, but I have sent them an e-mail as well asking where they are in resolving the issue."

He replied
"So will the product be on site tomorrow?"

When I told himt hat I can't create the order he called me and asked me why we can't create an order for $400.

Did he miss the whole credit hold thing?
This isn't the first time i've had to explain things like this to him.

This is abotu the 3rd thing this week that has come up. Each issue has been from a different person.
I want to save all these e-mails and put them in a book.

There is only one sure-fire cure for stupid. Unfortunately, they overlook the fact that you were doing the world a favor and say that you killed someone in cold bood. Of course, then that leads to the killing of THOSE stupids...see...it's a never ending cycle.

I work with dr offices for my company... so many of our clients are put on credit hold.  Basically we're stricter about people not paying their bills and it seems like more places don't have money to pay their bills.

Granted, we have not had "so will it be here tomorrow" but I have had to explain to many offices that until they settle their delinquent bills I can't send them anything.

Im not sure if they are playing stupid to try and get you to just not care and send it out so they dont have to pay, or they are genuinely dumb as shitballs. either way, i think you could profit from making a book of stupid emails. think tucker max, but with emails.

I thought everyone kept a 'make the beast with two backs-up' book.   They come in handy when less capable people challenge your competency.

Hell ya. I keep mine for reviews.
1) Write in my 'make the beast with two backs-up book'
2) Vent my frustrations in yearly review
3) Profit
4) Start new book.

He's been ready for a couple of years.
