My 3rd cousin is really cute.

And so is my first cousin.

Is it so wrong???

Not when they're on the same body.

I came really close once.  But it's not what you think.

At every family reunion, all we would hear from everyone is "Jon's doing so well as a wealth manager in Hawaii, Jon this and Jon that and Jon, Jon Jon.....Jon has a house on Lake Michigan, Jon's buying a new boat....  But would Jon ever show up at his family reunions.  Not a chance.  We're all blue collar, poop scooping losers.   Had only met the guy once or twice when we were pimply 14 year olds.

So...one hot steamy summer Saturday night about 10 years ago (mid 30's then), my girlfriends and I are out, feeling fine, ready to dance and we meet a pack of guys.  We all hit the dance floor, have some drinks, yuk it up a little....one guy in particular is chatting me up, wouldn't really give me a chance to talk w/the other guys (or my friends for that matter), a little on the obnoxious, lecherous, self-absorbed side, but kind of funny, closing the body bubble more and more.

As he's talking himself up ("place in Hawaii, place on the lake, I'm loaded, blah blah) all these family reunions come to mind and I finally get the chance to cut him off and ask "Jon, what's your last name?"

Yes, the response was as I suspected.  I give him a three stooges type of hit alongside the head and said "Jon, I'm your COUSIN!"

We're super close today but not like "that."  We still have a lot laughs about the "what ifs.

And that's my story.      ;D

Similar thing happened to me. Was at a nightclub. Chatted up a chick. She mentioned where her family is from. I put 2 and 2 together. It turned out she is my mother's cousin's mother's niece.

And that was it.  Haven't seen her since.

I'm all for that. Except desmolu would use my balls to clean her chain if I showed up with two random Asian girls; and by clean her chain I mean put the bike up in stands and in gear while maintaining high rpm's.

By 3rd cousin you mean cousin 3 times removed? Like, grandfather's cousin's son's daughter? I'd say that's relatively far from your blood line but I probably still wouldn't do it.

Lies! I would love it if you brought me home two girls to be my maids....besides, I like your balls. You can clean my chain for me tomorrow while you're in the garage anyway too  ;)

I would encourage this just because I find bad things happening to others  entertaining.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I come from a state with a land area larger than many countries that was settled by only 135 families. EVERYONE there is my cousin. So I just stayed away from dating anyone with a remotely Spanish-sounding last name. Especially after I found out that my parents were related when I saw my family trees merge in the 1700's (scary, and explains far too much of my family).
