What all is involved? New clamp, risers bar etc? What would you recommend for my S4? I like the Rizoma line.

I may have some stock s4 (st style) triples and bars available very soon.

What do you currently have on the bike?

n/m, mine are the same as yours.

All stock clip on's, the thick bars.

So do you have the stock bar or aftermarket clip-on's ( there are no "stock" clip-ons) If you arre looking into new handlebars check out the ProTaper line lots of choices and great pricing.

Stock bar. Someone on the old board told me I had clip ons, hence me calling them by that. This is what I have.

Those are the weird pseudo clip-ons that that they cooked up for the S4.

To go to bars, you've got some hurdles to over come.  As it stands now, you've no way to attach a bar clamp, and the top of that triple in inconveniently not flat.  So it wouldn't be easy to just drill  to attach a clamp set.  Then you'd still be left with some odd looking empty holes where the current bars bolt.

If you're feeling it in the budget, you would replace the triple with a flash one from speedy moto, designed for use with a standard bar

Why do you want to switch to a bar?

My S4 has some adapters that hold 1 1/8 bars that kind of sit on the upper triple clamp.  I'm not sure of the brand, not marked, but there are access holes to get to the adjusters on top of forks.   It's a pretty comfortable set up.

To customize of course! I'm going for a retro cafe/ SBK look when I'm completely done with the bike. Kinda like me, I'ma  recording engineer, I love some classic genre's, but I'm also knee deep in electronic, make sense?

^YES^  snag that - that is a steal.  The speedy moto stuff I mentioned before is about 3x that cost

There's only one riser in the pic. Wonder if that means the other is missing? I'll email the seller.

I'll do that tomorrow.  I'll see if I can figure out how to post them...we need an attachment option so us noncomputer types can deal with it.

Well, I read the directions.  Duh.
