Maybe Ducati was really sold to the VS marketing team. ;D

Dooooood,

It's just another perspective. ;D

If the Teutuls can avoid their past performance...

we really don't want a fancy paintjob with nothing to back it up...

They'll market the hell out of Ducati.

Keep in mind...

Did anyone watch last Thursday's episode? Paul Jr. got fired.  [thumbsup]

After all, Paul Jr. is an artist, I heard him say so.  Right around that time, I saw him drill a hole into a brand new tire, trying to mount a fender bracket.   He bolts together unrideable junk, and dumbshits like Miller Welders and Snapon buy that crap, maybe Harley dealers are big customers of Miller and Snapon, although I doubt it.  Most of the Harley mechanics that worked at real Harley dealerships that I know don't make a whole lot of coin.   It's hard to buy Snapon when you aren't making pretty decent bucks.

Don't get me wrong, Snap-on and Miller welders make a great products, but to give those guys a couple hundred thousand to build a piece of crap that is a shiny, and is still a piece of crap is misguided, to say the least.

I don't understand the Ducati community sometimes.

Who gives a flying make the beast with two backs if they sell Ducati's?

I mean seriously.

do they sell anything else? i thought just theirs (and now ducati)?? thats whay it erked me, the thought of a bunch of the same choppers in the show room, then like 5 DS16's in a row (for some reason i can see them doing that)

got to agree with Cyrus... WHO CARES??

One thing about the Duc community I've noticed is, if a dealer can't back up sales with quality service, people won't come back.  I can see the OCC brand drawing in customers.  That's what they are, a brand.  But keep them, not sure.  The Teutels definitely have the cash to go about it the right way, just not sure they have the business sense.   Long as they don't come up with some OCC theme abortion, who carea?

At least not until he's done with my stuff.  ;D

You can`t really blame the guys for trying to make more money. They have more money than I`ll ever see.

Some mods to the 1100

- Prosciutto shaped gas tank.
- Pizza pie wheels with pepperoni spinners.
- Sausage link handlebars
- Wine bottle exhaust can
- Tomato Headlight
- Olive shaped blinkers
- Fontana de Trevi engraved clutch cover

I`m hungry. :)

We should start a poll to see what mods they did.

I guess I care since I actually live in NY.   Personally I would rather have a Duc dealer that offers gear I would buy and use, not something like leather shorts and OCC tshirts.  Most dealers my way don't carry much in gear as their spaces are very small.  And with the shear size OCC offers,  there is so much potential which I'm certain will be wasted!!!!

From a biz standpoint, they built 100,000 sqft new building.

The chopper market is in the crapper.

Better find a way to move cash/people through the building.
