That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Allow me to attempt to rephrase.

I can't imagine a Ducati Chopper with a lame theme to promote some crappy product in front of a local Wal-Mart.  [laugh]

Guess what this means is that the Ducati motorcycle has now become part of the collective zeitgeist. This was bound to happen once everybody heard what they tend to sound like when one cores the pipes. Ducati is growing in this country. Hopefully the Teutuls do right by them. They had better hire somebody with some tech finesse relative to the brand, for if the service department sucks who knows. I may be wrong but all I've seen on TV is a bunch of guys getting into arguments over how to assemble bikes from premanufactured chrome mail order parts (with some exceptions, a couple of guys with some sheet metal expertise and a couple more with painting skill). Maybe Ducati approached them as a calculated move to increase their market exposure.

Who cares if they are selling Ducati's?

Not uncommon to see choppers and Duc's by eachother.

I recall at the dealer in Daytona, Arlen Ness bike's on the same show floor as the duc's

This was a few years back, so don't know if they are still together, prob not

Their TV show is built on their on screen antics. Like said above.

If one wanted to see a bike builder they would be watching Jesse James or the like. There are a ton of them out there.

I feel that this is a "Dark Day" for Ducati to be sold at such a place.

Truly a shame.

Isn't that the same thing Ducati owners do on this forum?  Okay, maybe with anodized parts, not chrome...

The OCC name can attract and pay for some high dollar techs if they wanted.  I doubt Paul jr will be doing valve adjustments.

As Cyrus pointed out earlier, Arlen Ness sells Ducs and I think he may have sponsored a Duc AMA team.  Maybe the increase in popularity will mean cheaper aftermarket parts!

OCC clutch cover! OMG yes!  :D

or a testastretta slapped into a massively raked and stretched OCC frame and 300 rear! crazy paint! dripping with chrome!

There is a difference for me. Arlen Ness has based his reputation on making bikes not on fighting with his father on TV.
