Oh, now that looks devious!  [evil]
That definitely looks like it probably has a 427 w/a blower and maybe bored out to a 560 w, the Slicks and the Wheelie Bars.     Dolph      :)

Call it what want man...  It's more car to me than any BMW or Audi listed in this entire thread.

I doubt that.

Beck, we all come from our own eras.

I thought my '57 MGA was the neatest car when I had it but that was 50 some cars ago.

I surely wouldn't want to compare it to the '02 BMW Z-8 I had but as far as fun factor, I had more fun in the '57 MGA than I did in the Z-8.

Cars are a lot like women , what looks great to you may not do a thing for me and vice versa.   Dolph      :)

427's have very thin cylinder walls.  You can't bore it past 0.030".  Anything Ford and Big-Block within easy reach of 560cid would have to be based on the 385 series engines (429/460).  Which would likely be the case considering the extensive suspension mods needed to handle those tires...

My '66 Fairlane doesn't yet exist.  I don't own it......yet.

The '62 Falcon was a 144cid I-6 with a 3-speed column shifted manual....originally that is.

I think one of my mid '70s Lincolns had a 460cid.  A real Hog Block.

I forgot that Ford made a 144cid. I-6   Dolph     :)

Ah, we called um 3 on the tree.  ;D
It was 44 years ago . I just remember it was ( 4 on the floor ) and ( 3 in the Tree ) but, we didn't grow up in the same area or the same times I don't think so either is OK D.

At least WE know what each other is talking about . I remember the Mopar's with the push buttons, 1,2,D,N,R,P. they were automatics.

I think my 1st 5 speed was a '69 Porsche 911S.

1st 6 speed was a Beemer or Porsche but I don't remember the year off hand. Probably sometime in the early or mid '80s.       Dolph      :)

It may not have 500hp, but I drive the hell out of it....and it's a torquey little beast

I love my car!

I can't afford a new BMW of Audi anyways

BTW....I'd be in line with you BP if they'd release the scirocco here. Guess I'll be buying a GTI or another Golf next.

I'll keep my '97 Taurus w/ 177,000 miles.  It was cheap ($700)as well as cheap on insurance, it's paid for, and it leaves me with more money to spend on bikes!
