Hey I posted this on my closest local board, but since it's a national company I don't think it will matter where you are from.

I made a post a while back asking people where they got their insurance from, as Progressive was trying to screw me.   I called every company I found out about and compared rates for my S4R T.  I called like 10 companies, all the big ones and all the small ones I could find.  The Ducati Foremost plan was the lowest at 96 bucks a month.  The average was 120 a month.

Then a friend gave me this guys info:

Russell Foreman
817-966-5754
rforeman@farmersagent.com

He got me the best deal I've ever had, going through a company I had already called, Foremost.  I'm paying 50 bucks a month less then my lowest quote elsewhere.

Give this guy a call, tell him Wade from Lubbock recommended him.

All these insurance threads are semi-useless as the determining factors depend on so many variables. Your bike, the age of your bike, the CC's, your age, your driving record, your zip code, garage or no garage, your credit rating, are you a homeowner, who carry's the insurance on your other assets, what level of coverage you have, etc, etc. etc. "The best deal" to you might mean the cheapest price. The "best deal" to others might mean service.

I think your useless.    :'(  I'm kidding.

I got full coverage, bike valued at 15 grand,  three grand in additional parts and gear, Towing and other stuff I don't remember.  My deductibles are 100 comp and 250 collision.  And I don't know how you get better service then dealing with one guy everytime.

All I'm saying is, I'm riding because this guy got me a good deal.  If you are at all thinking about changing or unhappy give him a call.

Don't get wrong. A good agent is great. I was just trying to point out the many variables that come into play with insurance. We keep having these "how much you paying for insurance" threads and they are semi pointless. For instance your guy couldn't touch my cost and I have 20X more coverage then is State mandated.

With that said my driving record is 4 pages long and on my 02 S4 my insurance with full coverage is <$300/yr.

hbliam,

It's interesting that you think that.  Another insurance thread on this forum just saved me about three hundred dollars a year.  I appreciated the thoughtful input and am pleased with the result. I find the members of this forum to be a fount of information, much of which has proved to be accurate and valuable.

If I do notice a thread that seems useless to me from simply reading the subject line, I ignore it and move on to a subject that does interest me. Meanwhile, I thank Wade (Clickjack) for his postings and hope to see more.

ive been around the block too. geico wants 3grand a year for liability only, foremost wants 1500, dairy wants 520. if i go full coverage with max deductible, geico wants the costs of my bike, foremost wants 4grand and dairy wants 4grand and ive been with dairyland for 2/3 years now, no dice, premium just kept going up.

From the sounds of it, they are betting i will defintely crash the bike, and it will defintely get stolen. :P
