Holmstrom's goaltender interference call last night was by reputation more than any actual action.

That was a tight game. I'm thinking that was ALL chicago had as they looked stunned to have lost.

One can only imagine what they'll look like when Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Holmstrom, and Hossa get their offense going.

I wathced the wings game on Tuesday!

It had to be one of the best games I ever watched. 

The final goal was nothing short of amazing!

I really like the WCF because it's two skill teams rather than goons. Detroit and Chicago are playing the same style of hockey, keeping games close and energetic.

I guess the team that has both the NHL scoring leader, and the #3 scoring player in the league is not skilled... 
It's another facet of hockey that these west coast teams just don't play.
Red Wings are too disciplined, and their willingness to take a beating is going to catch up with them.
Hawks not so much, they got some fellas that are willing to throw some weight around.

Holy sheepshaggers!  Anyone watching the Wings/Hawks game?  Down 3-0 the Wings scored 3 in 4 1/2 minutes to tie it.  I was getting bummed because they couldn't get anything going on the power-play and then BANG.  Makes for an interesting 3rd period.

It was a good game. Could have been better! But that 5min penalty on Kronwall was a bunch of shit. Yes it was one hell of a hit. Havlat got knocked the make the beast with two backs out!
It was a clean play though. Interference? really? The puck was at his skates!

Oh well. On to game 4 tomorrow

some commentators compared it to the Brown hit on Hudler in round 2. The key difference is Brown hit Hudler after the puck had left and led with the elbow. Kronwall's hit was MASSIVE and SEVERE, but clean and legal. I don't like the hit, but there's no way it was a 5 min interference and there's absolutely no way it was a game misconduct.

I hope Havlat is okay.

Um, wow.  That was a comprehensive ass whoopin.  The Hawks just had a total meltdown.  I think it's safe to say that they are done.
