Are they having a hard time finding enough super-wealthy folks that want to show off their cars?  I always imagined that PB was packed full - I'm surprised that they'd make room for a bunch of bikers.  [laugh]   I'd love to see the Vincent that Rollie Free rode, though.   [thumbsup]

Maybe next year they'll feature Italian bikes?   [coffee]

My brother worked at Pebble Beach for about 14 years.  He was the guy that directed the cars up the ramp.  Did you know that you didn't used to be able to ride a motorcycle in Pebble Beach unless you knew someone that lived there, and they gave you permission and called one of the gate guards to let you in, or you worked there?  If you just wanted to go for a putt around 17 mile drive, forget it.  You couldn't get through the gate.  I'm not sure what the deal is now, maybe they will let you in with a ticket to the Concourse, but it used to be $75 for Sunday, not sure how much now.

If someone would like to "enter" at PB in the new class -- I know of where there is a great pre-war (Italian 350cc) Varchetto junior TT roadracer that needs minor detailing else it is original.  (They built @20 Varchetto's total)  I'd almost guarantee it would beat Leno's Vincent...
