Got the swingarm off and now im looking at how to remove the rear axle hub, so far, i got the rotor and sprocket off. there is a bolt htat holds the plate #17. Once i figure out how to get that bolt of on the account of everything is corroded... how do i get that whole assembly out? ???

Remove the wheel, sprocket/chain and brake caliper.

Then the large circlip on the right side, followed by the spacers and caliper bracket, and slide the axle assembly out the right side of the swingarm.  The hub slides out from the other side.

Speeddog

Pompetta just told you how to remove the caliper bracket.

Perhaps you mean the caliper?

You're welcome!  [beer]

There is no bolt holding on the bracket.  The bracket slides onto the hub and has slot that fits over a pin on the swingarm

I meant the caliper bracket, but as speedog mentioned, that pin, i mistakened it for a bolt that holds the plate on. It end up tweaking one of my expensive allen keys! i thought it was gonna snap! either way, i got the C-clip off and it slid right out!

Also the hub comes off on the left side of the swing arm, not the right. [thumbsup] posting up pics of how everything is going as of now in a new thread!

ill do a write up in place of capos post when i put eerything back together..assuming i didnt loose any bolts.

on a side note, i went to a hardware store that i knew existed about 2 blocks from me, and they carry all types of fasteners, stainless steel , chrome steel, marine grade, button heads, regular, hex bolts, etc. but thye only sell them in boxes of 100. :( no matter, its cheaper than buying it online and fronting $10 bucks for shipping!

If you re-read my post, it states to slide the axle out the right side and the hub slide out the other side.   "Left" being the other side.  [laugh]
