Im down.

Only if we get a politics pass though, most books I think we would read would have political undertones.  :-\
No breaks....

A reflection on Everybody Poops:

I find that the protagonist constant finds themselves in shitty situations. I feel that it was a crappy ending.

give it a month.

lets just say on the 15th of each month, we pick another title and start a tread about the previous months book.

I'll keep track of the time line and dates.

Very, very dense. I've never been able to get into books that are really heavy into philosophy, so this is one of the few books I've started that I failed to finish. But I'm certainly willing to pull it off the shelf and give it another try if you want.

and remember please......

there are no absolutes on opinions.

I like hearing opinions that differ from my own because I feel that's how I best learn.

That said...... the simple fact that another soul has a opinion that differs from your own, is no reason to bash his head in with your idea.

Bullshit.  If this were the case, the internet (as we know it) would cease to exist.  ;)

LM here:

I should be picking up our copy of ZatAoMM from the library this week.  I thought I still had the edition that I bought back in college, but apparently it was sent to Goodwill at some point in past years.  I'd started to read it for a class (which one I forget) and the exam came and went before I got it finished.  I've always wanted to read (finish reading) it again.  I'm guessing I'll get more out of it now that I'm *cough, cough* than I did when I was a young 'un, so I'm looking forward to getting started.

Happy reading to all who participate, and I hope I get to chime in when May 15th rolls around!

Hey teach,

would written reports be required?

could we do webinars?

what if we cheat and read the cliff notes version?
