Anyone have it in their area yet?

We do and it's sublime!

Such a light, clean finish...

I get Coca-Cola from Mexico instead.

Oldfisti

I would prefer Coke to Pepsi.

I'll try the Mexican Coke and Dublin Dr. Pepper soon.

The Dew is outstanding and the Pepsi damn better than HFCS Pepsi.

haven't even seen it yet, but I look forward to.  I have had sugar Coke, and agree it is much better than what we buy here.

When I went Japan years ago the Coke tasted like Pepsi and the Pepsi tasted like Coke.  [roll]

I'll look for the stuff in my area. I've noticed that college towns tend to get a lot of trial projects due to the audience spread.

The end is in sight! Gotta buckle down and get to work!

I prefer Coke over Pepsi but if this Pepsi doesn't have high fructose corn syrup, I'll make the change!

I just returned from Italy for a few weeks.  The whole time there I didn't ingest one product that contained high fructose corn syrup.  I don't believe I ven ate any processed foods with ingredients I couldn't spell.  I ate like a horse and lost weight!  And I feel great.

No more high  fructose corn syrup in my life!

Up is blue and down is sideways!

I'm in the Albany, NY area and we do have several colleges here. I found it in a Hess station 15 miles from the nearest college. Dunno if the grocery stores are carrying it yet. Will check today.

Rumor has it that production stops in the middle of June...    :(

I was also in Italy a few weeks ago, and we had some Sprite , coke, etc. that was not made with HFCS.  I agree with your comments - it was notably tasty.  Our friends (American expats) told us that they use HFCS here in the States because it's got a longer shelf life than the products made with cane sugar.

Anyway, when we came home, we bought some "Pepsi Natural" - a varety of Pepsi that is made with cane sugar and not HFCS.  It's good.   [thumbsup]  We also picked up some 'Izze' soft drinks from Costco - it's a soft drink made with fruit juices, cane sugar, and carbonated water.  It's quite good, too.

I just picked some up and have them chilling in the refrigerator. Can't wait to fight off the first heat of spring with some real Mountain Dew.

I'll have to look for it.

I get the Mexican Coke at Costco.  Does taste much better.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

If you like coke with cane sugar, buy it during Passover (in the specially marked bottles).  HFCS is not kosher for passover, so coke makes a run of it.  They usually use the yellow caps with the passover marking on it (but will say SUGAR on the label)

Good stuff.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Bick

I will have to keep that in mind.  Thanks for the tip.  [thumbsup]

+1 on soda with cane sugar.  I don't really drink coke here in the US, but when I was in Italy, I drank it all the time......  [bacon] good!

I love Mtn Dew, so I'll have to keep an eye out for the cane sugar model.  I will stock pile it, and my wife will be pissed.

I had a few Cokes in Belize last month...much better!
He man, where are all the ads?

Oldfisti

Saw a National ad for Throwback Pepsi yesterday during the Talladega race so I'm assuming it will be more available soon. None in my local grocery yet.

The gas station still has the 20 oz. singles 2 for $2.  Not a bad single price but  I wanna stockpile some Dew!
