Pretty cool, seems a good fit. I did the same and rigged up my Magellan Roadmate 1200, which is a small square profile unit which i fastened right on top of the handlebar clamp. The biggest issue i've found is glare during the daytime. You can see almost nothing even on the brightest setting. Have you has similar issues?
Also, I dunno if you are just running it off battery power, but if youre interested, theres a kit available from Powerlet that lets you add a plug to your bike, similar to a cig lighter jack in cars. It comes with adapters to just about everything.
I like the look of the black rizoma bar you got btw. How different is the angle on that compared to the stock bar? Does it actually help with vibration like they claim?
Well, it works pretty good. The fit is fine, the screen is mostly readable except for just some angle where the glare blinds the screen. And there's no voice nav on this unit. Not that you can hear it over wind / Termi's anyway.
Currently I'm just running it off the build in battery which supposed to last 14 hr, so that should be plenty for most situation.
As for the bar, there's a noticeable different where you sit more upright. It's more comfy for longer ride, but I really didn't have too big an issue w/ stock bars to begin with. The biggest annoyance really is when you install and trying to drill holes to make sure controls line up properly. The left side is easy. The right side control is complicated, to try to make the control pod have fair amount of clearance to the tank. I ended up griding away the little locating pin on the right control so I can rotate it at any angle. I love the finish product. With the reverse retro mirrors and adjustible levers, it's pretty sweet.
