waytogo   Tigre got a podium finish today in Open Twins     waytogo
1:45 lap times got him a third place after significant work up through the crowded field - w00t!

Hopefully he'll post up about all 3 races

I did turn in a couple 44's during the race, as well.  Those backmarkers, and yes -- lappers, were slowing me down a bit.   [moto]

I'll post up results later...  short story was I got "good enough" starts, and ran pretty well.  I was "penalized" by shortened races -- would definitely have moved up 1 more spot in 750 superbike, and would havee had a shot at 1/2 spots in F1.

Fast lap of the day = 1:43.5.  That's 1.7 faster than my best lap from 2008, which was during Friday practice at the AMA weekend.

I will write more later.

Cheers,
Tigre

That's awesome...you've definitely had some breakthroughs this year. And glad to have been there to see your first podium finish waytogo

There were a couple of bad crashes at the starting line in the race previous to Datv and Tigre's first race. The delay in restarting that race meant that all the races of the day were shortened by several laps in order to stay on schedule. DQ and I were doing the boards at the start/finish and saw Tigre catching the guy who got second in the Open Twins.
In the couple more laps that should have been there, Tigre fwould have taken 2nd easily IMHO.
