Being a spectator at the races today and talking to several folks who attended our last private practice day, I'm inclined to suggest a NMMR or Hooligan track day in September or October.
Riding with folks we know is far better far than taking a chance with some unpredictable riders.
Who's game and willing to improve their skills?
Yep, same here, I'm in if I have a bike and good tires. That track day ate 70% of my tire life and I just put them on before Ouray! I'm giving in my bike for valves the first week of September. PJ's expects 1 week to a month depending on some recent issues on beat up cams!!! I hope it is one week, you know I'm gentle on my bikes!
But, if there is an opportunity, I'll never miss it!!! Such an addiction...my dreams last two days have been those corners...

I'll be in town for 2 weeks+ beginning around Sept 30th, so I am definitely interested. Bike should be running by then.

Last time we did it we paid less than $40 per person for 1 1/2 hours including the EMT.
Scott might know the current pricing and get us the inside scoop.

Would be nice to accommodate Nic....anyone who is interested please post up so we can get a common consenses
about the date. I'm sure we would have to pick a weekday since the weekends are booked up way ahead of time.

Week days, let me see here.
...OK got it, before 6am or after 9pm.
Seesh, I was getting a bit worried there for a second that I wouldn't have time.
Kidding aside, so sorry I will miss out this this time around.

If you want, I'll take your bike and ride it at the track for you, so it will be LIKE you were there
Weekday's are fine with me, Mornings preferable, at least 1 week's notice to let the boss know would be preferable.

I hope all of you had equally good days. Everyone looked great, but the most fun on a bike award has to go to Ed riding his shiny new SR500 and dragging hard parts like knee pucks. Who says ya gotta lean deep to have fun?
A close second to Craig Ratliff on his shiny new (notice a theme, here?) GSXRocket1000. That thing flat moves out when you point it and pull the trigger!!!! We'll have to move that guy up to expert soon.
You guys have me Jonesing for next weekend, already! [moto]

Do I get a bronze...!?! Craig was flying on that Rocket Monster...Riding behind him, I was very impressed at his skills improving tremendously in last 2 months! Now I want a freakin slipper clutch...am getting tired of the backlash on my bike downshifting...gets worse with heat! I was happy with my performance on the last session I did, though I need a track bike...

Aww, you guys. I don't think I was going that fast. I was just having fun. It's pretty fun when you don't have to worry about wadding up your good bike. I don't want to go down on any bike. The tires are pretty good too. The Pilot Power One's that are on there stick like glue to the track so I am sure that has a lot to do with it. As far as going to expert, I don't know about that. I think I am far from that. I thought about it, but those guys are FAST! Either way, I had a blast out there.
