I'm back, fresh off 2 track days at MSR Cresson & a 4 day Texas Hill Country trip, & would love to meet up for 1 or 2 more track days before the season ends. I'll keep an eye on this thread... Thanks for the updates waytogo [moto]

So, I went the the track today to ride and there were 3 people there including me. Not what I had expected at all. Yeah, it was nice to pretty much have the track to myself but it was not very exciting. I had fun, but as the day went on, my tires really started slipping. I definitely need a new wet before I go out again.
Craig,
You being the only person having done the new practice day and track days, what's your recommendation for the group?  Wink

Scott,
I'm in for a Monday Practice Day.....   waytogo

I wasn't on your original request list, but I fit into the category of ..."Anybody!"

I'll bring the piece of junk #2,  SR500 and also the yellow Honda.  The POJ #2 now runs reasonably well, but starting it is a B-i-t-c-h.  If necessary, I can do the ever popular and exciting tow start.  I do need a second guilty party for the tow vehicle.  ...It's the redneck's ....roller starter.

The "Nice"  #1,  SR500 runs well and starts fine but it is too delicate to associate with the likes of you and the Duck Bunch.  So, ... it's the Alley Cat  ... #2,  SR500 that you will have to deal with.  That Aermacchi is in my sights... bring it if you dare....!  .....Got the big motor in that puppy yet?     laughingdp

I assume the Monday "practice day" is this like a regular track day with the same requirements for taping mirrors, tail lights....and the use of track suits, boots,... etc.

Are you planning for a full day of fun or just a morning blast of the track?

It is pay on track I guess. None of us have paid. Karl's post says this is sponsored by the track (This is not our group event like before)...I'll just carry some cash on Monday. I'm sure they will appreciate any # of entries!  waytogo

I'm not sure what you mean. It would have been a lot more fun if there were other people there.

Right now, my bike is not up to it. I may come down any how to check things out. Perhaps I can grab a ride with one of you as I will have no wheels. I can perform helpful tasks like being the #2 on Ed's Roller Start Team.

Is this an all-day thing? What time do people show up?
