I posted some questions about replacing my timing belt...immediately got great responses...tutorials, advice, etc.  Then a guy  saw my posts and offered to change them for free.  He ended up living 15 minutes away.  I gave him a gift certificate I hadn't used because I'm strapped for cash.

I too have been fortunate to have benefited from the kindness of fellow DMF'ers. I took the first chance that I had to help out someone in my area and it felt really good to pay it forward when the opportunity presented itself. If you ask me, that's the way the world should work. Cheers to that!
