Not that anyone would install this accessory other than me, but a couple of weeks ago I unboxed the Ducati Performance centerstand and installed it on my bike.

The instructions, which looked like a photocopy of an old magazine article printed from microfiche, were about a C+ for this model.  The kit came with a part never referenced in the instructions, written in some approximation of the King's English.  The re-installation of the left side footpeg holders after installing the stand were simply flat-out incorrect (I suspect for all models). Fortunately, they have you do the right side first, so it's available for eyeballing once you've figured out that when it comes to the left side, you're on your own.

Once in place, the stand works great, and the tang is up and out of the way.

I know I am dredging up an olde thread...

I just bought a center stand from an ST ( I believe it is anyway ) and I am planning to install it on my track monster as I convert it back to street use slowly....does anyone have a copy of the instructions scanned or anywhere online so I can use them as a rough reference when doing this?

I put a centrestand from a ST2 on my 2000 900ie. The fitting was quite straightforward except the foot lever bit fouled the low mounted Staintunes and i had to heat and bend it a bit. I think a couple of spacers had to be removed too.

Do the preliminary fitting without the spring.

coool....thanks for the heads up...I have a high mount exhaust on it that caused me to take off the passenger peg stands I had on it...I have olde Cycle Cat rearsets...so I guess I'll be playing with some fitment....
