I'm pretty surprised at those prices given the unknown condition following flood damage and the current state of the economy.

Then again people get carried away at auctions. I've been chasing a 4 wheeled vehicle lately. Went to an auction with a set limit of what I was prepared to pay on a couple of cars. Did my research first to set my limit. I was stunned as two idiots bid each other out to a shitload more than they would have paid somewhere else. Some people don't want to feel like they have lost and are willing to pay for it.  Roll Eyes

I thought the looks were the only unpopular part of the 999 equation? from the reviews I read of both 999 and 1098, everyone commented on the looks.

Good luck getting 16k for a stock 999 these days!

noodle is the same boat - not many of them - but not wanted either!
