To all of you motorcycle riding hooligans out there... don't ride in farmington.  We had two motorcycle fatalities lately, so now the cops are essentially harassing motorcycles.

Last night, I got pulled over for driving in the left hand lane.  He was yelling at me from the start about running from the cops and yada yada yada.

Furthermore... cops follow motorcycles taking down plate numbers and matching them to descriptions, ignoring other blatant and stupid infractions such as someone driving down the road at midnight with no lights.

At least aztec hasn't gone off the deep end.

Last July I was pulled over outside of Durango by a cop who made the same remark about being surprised I actually stopped because most of 'em don't.  I felt like a dork, I knew I should've kept going.   Embarrassed  He'd pulled over another car and her papers weren't in order so he let me go with an admonition to watch my speed.

OK...I'm trying to think of how to start this thread and I don't quite know how to begin.

I'll start like this.  We all know that Kingbaby is a man of many talents.  He can  [moto], he can and he can , but little did I know that he has hidden his greatest talent from us all.

Lunchtime came this afternoon and I decided that a bit of Java Joes Downtown sounded good, so I headed downtown in hopes of a red chile/cheese/sour cream omelet.  As I walked in the door I became aware that there was a Zydeco band playing within the small restaurant, but I gave it no more thought as I ordered my omelet and wheat toast and poured myself a cup of coffee.  My cup of Joe led me to a table near the center of the humble edifice and it was there that I was greeted by the largest shock I've had since The Crying Game.  As the band belted out its patented rendition of "Elvis Was a Cajun" I recognized Keith's voice and turned to find that not only can he sing, but he can play the accordion as well!

Not only does Keith play accordion, but Rosemary was there, too, working percussion like an old time pro!  That girl can beat a drum, a xylephone, and a cymbal all at the same time.  It was a wonder to behold.  As I consumed my omelet and toast I was serenaded with such favorites as "You Make Crawdad Head Suckin' Fun", "Alligators Are Fun, But Sheep Don't Fight Back", and the timeless "Bayou Boyhugger".

So next time you see Kingbaby and Dusty, don't forget to give 'em a big Yee Haw, and remember, they do take requests.
