 cheeky cheeky

Good times!  Yeah, I was stuck in third gear - on the way home!!!  Since my gearshift lever was bent and we broke it off trying to straighten it.  All's well that ends well, I just remember seeing your brakelight and thinking you were pulling over, locking up my brakes trying not to hit you, the fishtail into the gravel, then the flight in superman position as the bike vanished from under me.  Landing on my stomach and knees, bouncing up, dust everywhere, the Paladin all pissed off and growling.  It's always a good thing to be able to walk away from a ditch on the Crest.  Just another day in the life of the SPH.  I'm just glad none of us got tangled up.  coffee

So get this great bundle of f'in joy....went to be a good citizen and get my CO license.  The claim my NM one never had the motorcycle endorsement.  friggin fraggin.  Thankfully, I think I have my old CO one and my msf so I will go into a different DMV next week.  Nothing like standin in line to be given the bullshit.  grrrrr

I am finding that NM is notorious for that.  WTF!?  Even KB has no endorsemnent and has been riding since he was 4 and had an endorsement since he was 15, but went to get his license renewed and suddenly they say he doesn't have one (a few hundred thousand miles later on state roads, not to mention running motorcycle dealerships for over a decade).  laughingdp  Again...WTF?!

My NM license is good till 2015 so unless something like needing a Colorado license to vote up here, I plan on foregoing the pleasure of the DMV on that issue.  I did just learn though that they automatically charge you $100 if you didn't register your vehicle within 90 days of moving here.  Magically, my Landcruiser only came up April 25th instead of my distant memory of sometime in December.  My hat is off to the SUPERCOOL lady at the DMV who gave me a heads up on that even as I was filling out the form.   waytogo  There are some humans in there.  The REDFLAG will reside in NM until July 2011, the Paladin until Dec 2010.  What am I going to ride and drive till then?

Piece of cake  waytogo   I was thinking more along the lines of carbon mountain bike downhill bars,  but ok, that'll be a lot less $.
