Don't listen to her...it takes DAYS to wash Mouse meat off your bike...and don't even ask about Plumber Crack... 3 months and 6 gallons of bleach and I still have a stain.

Try Aircraft Remover (Paint stripper for those who aren't familiar with it) and a high power rotary grinder with a wire brush.  Sandblasting is always an option.    waytogo  I dont know that those'll help the smell, but hey, its a start!

I've updated my blog at http://www.mh900e.org with a couple of pictures of my Aermacchi, if anyone is interested!   [moto]

I like...ah .. da... Aermacchi.....   waytogo

Would that be a 250?

Is that slim backbone frame up to the task of flicking through the S-turns?     [moto]

I would like to see/hear it run...  I assume that the extra cool, rusty exhaust pipe shatters glass at 50 paces....

That's not rust, Ed, that's "character"!

Actually, I intend to paint the homemade reverse cone megaphone (sized by calculation to provide good power, but not necessarily noise abatement) in high temp black and wrap the pipe sometime soon.  That should eliminate the "character".   Wink

The frame is more rigid than I might have thought, though it has been reinforced a bit.  It is very flickable and it weighs almost nothing, so I think it'll be a blast once I get the jetting and the gearing correct.

As to seeing and hearing it run, it'll be racing at Sandia Sunday!  Come on out.

Racing starts at 10:45, though both of my races are after lunch.  Should be overwith by 4:00 or so.

OK....so I've now met this Stuart guy, and I'm terribly impressed.  He looks very much like KB, and I can just mentally picture him wearing KB's favorite pink thong whilst sitting astride Fabio's shoulders, pounding Fabio on the head and yelling at the top of his lungs....."I want an Easter egg....I want an Easter egg".  Can't you see it, too?

Anyway, I'm to meet Duck Stew at Two Fools Tavern between 6:30 and 7:00, and I don't see any reason why he should be allowed to monopolize my glorious presence, so I thought I'd invite a few other lackeys friends to come down and hang out.  You know where you are.  You know where I'll be.  Now all you have to do is figure out how to get from where you are to where I'm gonna be at the appointed time (or before if you wish to wait for me......if you do that, have a boxty ready for me at 6:30.....and bow as I approach, Lackey).

Have I been hanging around Bonfy too much?  Your comments are greatly appreciated (though they'll probably be ignored, as usual).  As is a boxty.  On yer knees, wench.  Wait....what am I saying?!?

Two Fools around 6:30....that's what I'm saying.
