OMG! Finally got my windscreen for SS from Germany...sigh....that only took forever. Installed and now (sadly) soon to be for sale.
BTW if you ever need a clear replacement windscreen for early 90's SS mra.de is the website.

OK- so we've had more rainy days than sunny ones and no real warm temps for any length of time, but springtime here in the Northeast is always beautiful. The azaleas have blossomed around our house, ranging from vibrant reds to strawberry pink, with the whites and one yellow mixed in. The magnolia has already lost its blossoms and the forsythia is gone for a few weeks, but it is still a riot of color here.  And, of course, the pervasive green- trees and bushes and grass.

That said, I am hoping this work project comes through and allows me to spend a month in northern New Mexico. And, a chance to see my mates.

Spending night at Morro Bay, CA along highway 1. Absolute beauty! Hwy 1 is closed up from Cambria to Big sur. Had to take 101 and 46 and then drove this spectacular road called old creek road...what a blast! Never seen so many curves and elevation...so much wish I was on the Duc! Had a red Charger from Enterprise...some drifting...Got my butt kicked for every bit of smile...we gotta do this road and more someday before I meet the Satan or God!!! [moto]

Maybe we should try to do a week around DIMBY next year or something?  We could attend DIMBY (Ducati In My Back Yard.....down near LA at SacDuc's abode), then take a relaxed ride up the California coast and back to Albuquerque with stops planned at strategic locations along the way.  I, personally, have a weak spot for Yosemite, but that's just me.

Where should we go?

Yosemite?
Half Moon Bay?
Fisherman's Wharf?  (and Munroe whilst we're in SF)
Laguna Seca?  (if there's a race or something....maybe another California track if there's a race we can wrangle into the schedule)
San Luis Obispo?
Pismo Beach?
Sequoia?
Las Vegas?  Cool
Lake Tahoe?
Reno?

Who's got the "killer route"?

Barb's son emailed a bunch of photos of the smoke from the Arizona wild fire that seems to blow into ABQ ech evening. Looks horrid. How are you guys coping? Am I correct in assuming it's better on the east side of the Sandias?

After sitting at a stop in the ol Jeep and hearing my first RSV4 pass by.. I couldnt help but think..  Yes.. I could own and appreciate an Ape.  The V4 sound still has me giddy and shaking.  Now.. Where the hell does one go to purchase one of these fine machines?  After the Duc's paid for.. I might have to get me one!   Evil

Denver, El Paso, or Phoenix.  Take your pick, Wayne.
