Don't know for sure. CS2 came out a while ago (currently CS4 is the standard), so although it's expensive, it would be worth the upgrade if you use it a lot.

only occasionally, and not worth the upgrade cost...

The whole autoCAD thing is really annoying because that is even more $$ than CS4

I bet. AutoCad has always been costly. I'll post up if I find out about your question.
