I am sad to be selling my Monster, but I have to say I can't friggin wait to get the new bike!!  I dropped off the deposit today on my new black beauty of a 2009 Daytona 675!  There's just so much bike there it's scary in a good way.  Here she is:

Picking her up Wednesday and going to try to set up a dyno break-in before any/much riding.
09 Triumph Daytona 675 - Rocket -
07 695 Custom Dark - Sold -

This motorcycle is simply too goddamn fast to ride at speed in any kind of normal road traffic unless you're ready to go straight down the centerline with your nuts on fire and a silent scream in your throat. ~Hunter S. Thompson

That Nice Guy Beck!

Awesome bike.  My buddy at work has one.  We've gone on a quite a few rides together.  That thing is a rocket.

You're going to love it (but, you know that already!).  ;D

Have fun!

Triumph is doing 5.9% financing on the Daytona as well, so got locked into a great financing deal.  Dealer gave me a $350 store credit since I bought the Duc there, and my insurance is only $47 more expensive a year with this bike than the 695.  All said, I couldn't turn it down.  ;D

Looks great but why the dyno break in. How about some good old riding break in. Dyno's are hard on tires too.
I'm here to kick a*! and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of bubble gum.

If I was going to get a fully faired bike, I'd totally get a Triumph.
2003 Monster 620 Dark - Sold

1999 Monster 900 City - Sold

After 7 years of Monsters, I'm sadly bikeless right now.

My sweetie has a red one but despite it being a lot of fun to ride, she's never been able to find the love for it that she had for her 749.  :-\

Geeez, where do you go from there?  :o    Don't trust myself that much to have that much power, nice bike though.
