I'll be damned. its got Ducati-esque three spokers with a v-twin. That's some interesting exhaust. But that's no chopper, has rearsets and low bars.

V4.  It's a V-Max.

DesmoDiva

I think I'll pass on the bike.

You could sent me the R8 in the background though.   [evil]   ;D

I believe that Cecil Beaton said it best when she said "Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary".

I think it was done in good taste even though choppers are not my thing.

I think it was successful since there's already 3 pages of various comments about it ~

I like it. The horns are a bit out of place but its a nice looking bike. Would an offset rear wheel perform odd? Would you not notice or would you look like a dog walking Chevy Nova?

AfroStar

Not too bad... could have been worst...but that R8 in the back.. that other guys was more interested in that... so would I...

on that note - i took my monster up a 3-4 mile windy DIRT path yesterday - it climbs about 2,000'
i can see why someone though that would be a good idea - lots of torque, just needs some better suspension (which they took care of).

the chopper isn't bad
not my cup-o-tea, but i can appreciate the work that went into it

A coupla random thoughts--

Is that a 180 up front?  That's a biggg tire.

I wish they hadn't done all the chrome.  Cuz it'd look cool with either a bright color or a matte color (or both) in place of the shiny bits.

I assume that's a horn up front and not an intake?  I hope it's a horn.  That's rad.

Is it dry or wet clutch (I don't remember what the Multis have).  It'd suck to do all that work on a Duc and leave it as a wet clutch.

NAKID

Nice looking frame, nice looking SSSA, interesting belt conversion. But, it's still a wet clutch...

I'm glad to see the competition out there!  Definitely looks like there is some good fabrication work done on the bike.    [thumbsup]

My comments:

- if Blackstone did the bodywork in CF -- too bad they painted it all red.  It would be nice to see the CF weave given their talents.
- Too bad they didn't put the BST wheels on it
- The "feet forward / pulled back bars" is interesting.  I tried it and killed the bike as not enough weight on the front tire for my style of riding.
- Rake -- it isn't all that radical.  Glad to see they machined new triple clamps and hopefully have the correct "trail" factor
- Rear swingarm -- I like!  I wonder if they did a Honda lower shock assembly to make the shock work properly mounted within the swingarm like that?
- I think the "offset" picture is a photo allusion.  Nobody would make a mistake like that given the work involved
- oversized tubing on the frame?  Smart idea.  Ducati factory frames are wimpy enough in original form -- better to use quality materials instead.
- Bodywork: it looks like they took a Monster tank and a Multi strada seat/tail and combined.  It reminds me a bit ala Gurney's Alligator design.  This is the only real design weak spot I see on the bike -- but it could be easily fixed.
- headlight could be better integrated as well with the cowl
- The multistrada gascap is an interesting tidbit.  Ditto for the MS gauge pod which actually is pretty cool to use
- Forward foot controls -- those are going to hit pretty easily when leaned.  Hopefully the pegs will pivot so they don't dig in. (

Again -- glad to see the bike being built!  Hopefully they sell a few to folks.  I know I have a lot of enthusiastic owners on my DesmoDevil series over the years and there is definitely a marketplace for this type of bike.

I can appreciate the work for sure. My only grip is all the crome makes it look a little cheap and tacky kind of like the cruiser that Hyosung came out with.

For what it is I think it's well done, thankfully not over done.  [thumbsup]
