It puts the billet aluminum on the motorcycle...

« on: May 10, 2009, 01:40:55 PM »

smducman and I are road-tripping it out to Utah for WSBK round 6. After this weekend's races, you know Spies and Haga are going to step it up...this should be great.

So...WHO'S IN? Anyone want to meet up for drinks or dinner? We arrive Thursday evening and leave directly after the races Sunday.

My wife and I will be there Saturday and Sunday...we're skipping Friday, but getting into SLC that afternoon. Leaving after the race Sunday as well. Our seats are at the end of the straight away. (I'll be back 2 weeks later for a track day.  Grin)

We could be game for a meet-up. There's a really good brewery in downtown SLC.

I'm pretty sure this is the place:

We're at the end of turn 1 as well waytogo

I do like Red Rock. We should talk to johnc and try to get a meetup going.

Sounds good to me. Saturday night would probably be best as I'm not positive when we'll be getting to SLC on Friday night. We're driving from Boise.

Let me round up the natives. I was thinking Saturday is optimal as well. My only concern is how insane Red Rock will be with all the WSBK hooligans in town Evil

It wasn't too bad last year.  I thought Squatter's brew pub was better than Red Rock, though.  Unfortunately, there's not a lot to do in SLC.

What kind of food do they have? Their website doesn't have a menu. Red Rock had some pretty good food which is why I liked it.

Typical brew/pub food; to be honest I can't remember what I had.  I remembered liking it better than Red Rock, but they're both good.  I'd eat at either place any day.

Guys,

How about Saturday night at Red Rock? The GT U race ends at 4:45 PM local time on Saturday. So how about 7PM at Red Rock?
