Customer who I did a "bare metal" DesmoDevil and delivered it in Sept '07 just sent pics of it finished with paint and after a few hundred miles of riding.  Powerplant was from an old 900cc SuperSport.

note: the customer is definitely a black / muted gray European type of style ala his BMW's.

As for the look?  Love it -- or hate it -- doesn't matter.  This design has been around for almost 5 years now since I first debuted mine in July '04.  But it is another example of what can be done with a few Ducati bits and a bunch of imagination.  I'm sure Dan is going to have a lot of good miles riding and having fun with it as do all of my previous DesmoDevil customers.

note: I made two small "changes" below (I can never leave things alone!) -- black wheels and revised the seat a slight amount.  Hopefully he will make the changes to the real one!

I have to ask, why the mono body/gastank?

Better call OCC before they steal your design!!!   [laugh]

It looks pretty killer, not my taste, but I can appreciate the work in it [thumbsup]

I really like how you tuck the oil cooler up in the frame... Good touch and opens up the engine.  [thumbsup]
Turn it off man, turn it off!  It's sucking my will to live!

don't forget the hand fabricated rearsets integrated into the swingarm pivot...

First pic has a horrible background. I assume that's water on the concrete-looks like an oil leak though.

While you're making changes, reroute the oil cooler lines to the other side and flip the oil cooler upside down so the lines go down into the oil cooler, not up into it...

The owner sent me snapshots of it in the mail.  I haven't seen it for almost 18 months since I delivered it from Arizona.  He did the final assembly / paint and oil cooler mounting / lines, taillights, headlight, seat upholstery, etc.  Engine tuneup was Bellevue Ducati.  The ground -- it rains in the Northwest outside of Seattle.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to see it this summer and bring mine up and go riding with him.

+1 on the seat mod, I like your work [thumbsup]
