Anybody having fuel light troubles ???  Mine is always on now,  it just started acting up this year. After start-up it stays on, may shut off for a second or two, but will come on and stay on again. I checked for loose wire but can't see any. Flickers on, which would make me think loose wire. What is in the tank, could the problem be in there?

Thanks,
Donnie

Fuel sender issues are pretty common.

That is the item in the tank.

With the key on, disconnect the sender (the connector is on the bottom of the tank).  Sensor connected, light on, sensor disconnected, light off, bad sender.  You can replace the sender (expensive, and, as ducpainter said, less than reliable),  pull the bulb, or ignore the light.
