what is the diameter on the stock headlight?

I know its 8.5" with the bucket. but im looking for the diameter of the glass.

I believe it's about 7 1/4", very odd size. As far as I know, none of the aftermarket lenses will work but BMW sells a direct replacement cheaper than Ducati.

For a near identical yet somewhat unique direct replacement for the bucket and glass (the whole shebang) is the Desmoworld Clear Glass. Its a complete thing, unscrew and unplug the factory headlight bucket assembly, put the bulb in this one, bolt it up and go to town.

Check the mounting of the visor you found, as I'd imagine you could get enough bend in it to work with the slightly larger glass on the Duc.

I had one on my old cafe bike, they mount by the bezel around the glass it could probably be shoehorned in but it never really bends right and you get a sort of  loopy "M" shape if its too small for the lens.
