Don't sign up for automatic bill pay to anyone.  ever.

In the end it only benefits the pay-ee and the pay-er just gets it in the end.

Dude, they should credit the account that was charged. If they offered you a "refund" it should be in the same manner in which it was paid...

add Cablevision to the list....   since they own MSG, they don't allow any of the other carriers to get the MSG channel in HD, which really blows if you don't have Cablevision and like to watch the Rangers/Devils/Knicks...   and Islanders, but who watches them?
