What is the goop all over my seat?

My recently acquired 05 620 Monster has some mysterious goo on the sit down portion of the seat, original stock saddle with ~10Kmi. Warm sun makes this stuff like glue, I sure ain't gonna slide off.
Scrubbed the heck out of it with hot hot water  & nylon brush - and no go.
I don't know if this was a reaction to the leather cleaner & conditioner (Lexol), Mothers auto wash, or something applied by PO - or even the seat deteriorating?
When cold the seat barely feels tacky.
I initially noticed after first hot day in the sun.

Anyone experienced this?

Pretty sure it isn't from someone having too much fun in the saddle - please don't go there!

Uhhh..is bike in question a Capirex??

Did you happen to pick it up from a guy named Randall?

This has been mentioned before. I think it was the glue under the cover or under the shredded(?) plastic layer which came through the seat cover on a warm day. My guess, the cover must be taken off, either to put on a new cover and/or a new plastic layer. I might remember it wrong, though.

Yeah this happened to my S4R.  Ducati gave me a new seat under warranty.  Now might be a good time to upgrade to a gel seat.

Same thing happened to me after eating some potato chips with olestra.  :-[

I had the same thing happen to my seat last fall.  I tried just about everything to get it off and nothing worked.  It just spread over my whole seat with time.  My bike had about 1,100 miles on it when I got it and it just started as a small spot and slowly spread over the whole seat.  I had always figured that someone living around me didn't like the sound of the bike and had just messed with my seat to f*ck with me.

By the title I thought this might have had something to do with a bad camping experience.

Or a really good one!
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
