I vote for a still, I made one a couple years ago, a tower reflux still using the keg as the base.

I still have the plans for it. The Keg was the hardest part to find.
The rest is all copper pipe a couple small valves, some tubing and Raschig rings.
Think all told it cost me a bout $100 in pipe.
