So today was one of the first Sundays since the beginning of the proper riding season that I didn't go out. Aside from brunch and chores around the house, I'm pretty bored. As a minor distraction I spent time in the garage today installing the Vizalert wiring harness on the bike. I used to use the HARD system and while it worked great and saved me countless times, it kept on crapping out on me so I thought I'd try something new.

Anyhow, with that done and w/o a PS3, I'm bored. I can probably go down to the other garage and see how Dizzle and Cru are doing putting Dizz's bike back together but I'm not about to jump on the subway to do so...

So, if you guys aren't riding, what do you do in your free time?

I think I finally have my bike working. Cheesy

Free time? Watch TV, browse the web.

Which radar detector do you have on your bike dude?

A working bike?! Congrats man, maybe we'll finally get to go out (if it ever stops raining).
As far as tv, I have about 700 channels of sat tv and I only watch a handful of them, there's only so many reruns I can stand.
I'm using an Escort 8500 X50 waytogo
I meant to ask you earlier, what cold weather gear did you end up getting?

I play videogames and wax my bike when i dont ride.  Or do some workouts on a rowing machine helps strengthen the back muscles for riding.  My dog keeps me company too

Yeah, seems like the battery is getting charge finally (after another side of the road experience yesterday) so I may be good. I'll be riding upstate Friday & like I said, might come out to Matchless. Smiley

I got Revit gear actually. Sirocco jacket and Ultimate pants.

Jacket: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/rev-it/sirocco-jacket/
Pants: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/revit/revit-ultimate-pants.htm

Jacket fits really well and the pants are good too. Mine are both black.

I also bought some Revit GT Corse gloves yesterday, pretty good actually. Smiley

When not on the bike I do video games, read magazines about MCs and computers, books (reading Master Sniper my friend said was good, I have doubts so far), reading news, reading about strange crap I come across on the internet, movies, and hang out with friends and bs.

Those are the indoors kind of things.  Outdoors is camping, hiking, paintball, skating, bbq, and since my camping trip went bust recently I have a week of vacation to figure out so I'm thinking of doing the BOSS 7 day field course.

Sundays?

Well, my sons usually get up around 5:30 / 5:45 am because they are soooo happy to see me.

We play, read and wrestle for a few hours - I try to get a nap in somewhere during the day, as the pre-sunrise wake-up usually has me a walking zombie for most of the day.

We go on field trips, watch movies, run around, play with cars, play with relatives, go check stuff out in the city or wherever we are...

Then I get to take them home and deal with my ex- Tongue

Then 24 hours later I miss the hell out of them Cry

inline skates, still using my K2 backyards.

for paintball I have the Tippman A5 with low pressure regulator and empire twister barrel.  I'll try to post up a pic later today.  I used to play about 5 Saturdays in the summer, but things have been busy last year and this year so haven't found too much time to play.  Thinking about selling the marker since I haven't been able to find the time  Sad.  My favorite place is cousins upstate NY, they have some really good fields.

Do you skate?  You still play paintball?  What is your setup?

I skateboard and inline my first skates were actually k2backyards i loved them.  I have some RB Team models now but i havent really done inline in a while.  Skateboarding took over for the past 2 years.  But im still partial to inline

I usually play paintball at high velocity indoor but i love woodsball still.  Im rocking a Dye Matrix 4 with a Musashi board.  Its rock solid and i could never part with it.  Ill post up some pics if i can find them
