The glass is cracked on the tachometer of my 2001 Monster 750. Can it be replaced? Is there a replacement part available? Do I have to replace the whole tach? Is the same tach used also on other models?
TIA for your advice/help.

AFAIK there is no replacement glass available.

Any carbie tach can be made to work.

The speedometer glass is cracked on my ST2.  Actually it's plastic, not glass, if we want to be precise.

I've decided to just live with it on mine.

So how did yours crack?

Mine cracked because a tiny bit of brake fluid sprayed onto it when I was bleeding the clutch and I didn't realize it, so I didn't wipe it off and left it like that overnight.  Next time I do anything with brake fluid I'm hosing off the whole area afterwards.
