So my garage caught fire today, and unfortunately I have lost my house and Ducati.... I will post some pics of the inferno here shortly along with pictures of the roasted Duc.  It's all kind of surreal still, but I'm hoping the home owners insurance will cover the bike since I only had liability on her.  The fire inspector has ruled the cause as an electrical fire, so hopefully the insurance company will be kind to us.... hopefully.  It's been a sad day, but I'm safe as are my dogs.

House fires suck!  To a quick and painless as possible insurance settlement and rebuild.

Yeah, it's really something special when you get to see your pride and joy (house and motorcycle) blow up in your face.  I literally watched the Duc blow the F up from about 50 feet away.  Something special I tell ya..

Sorry to hear.  But don't worry, house can be fix, and you can certainly get another Duc for sure.  Maybe even an upgrade!

Most important things are safe, you and your family (including dog).  =)

As the house goes, it's pretty bad...  Wait until I post some more pics of the aftermath...  Unfortunately in the third pick, the garage door, when it came down, is being supported by my brand new toolbox and the Duc is right in the middle.

WOW! So sorry that happened to you.
As long as you and your loved ones are safe, everything else is gravy. That's why they call it insurance. Homeowners should cover all loss, including toolbox and [moto]
Now let's see, you had the new streetfighter with the full Termi setup, right? Grin

I agree. Total f#@king bummer on a biblical scale. Glad all are OK. Things can be replaced but that's easy for me to say when they weren't my things. You aren't human if you don't get attached to stuff. Especially if it's family stuff, pics of the family, childhood crap, maybe something of your Dad or Mom if they have passed on...

A big house fire like that is a big concern to me. Don't know how I would handle it. Certainly not as well as you. Again, really sorry for the loss. Memorial Day weekend will never be the same for you. This defines heartbreak. Cry
