Jeff H actually has a special hotline for Spider kinda like the "bat phone" but made out of web.....

How far has the mod addiction gone, when a guy in Oslo Norway knows about an Oz-rider's shopping habits?  Grin applause laughingdp

how about this folks....one weekend we get up early and ride/meet outside coldstream at a place for breakfast (Dos - you know what I'm talkin 'bout!)....then go straight up the black spur after breakky....and then....

well you get the point folks...breakfast THEN ride? (radical ideas stream forth from the oracle)

A ride, what a novel idea!

Being one person who's organised bike related gatherings from time to time, I've never really mastered the art of assembling people for breakfast, and then a ride - unless you count 2 or more  double shots in a beverage of your choice @ mecca as breakfast (of course we do says the coffee snobs amongst us!)

Seriously, a sit down breakfast always tends to drag out, with any decent ride being cut short... And given that we tend to draw a crowd from all parts of Syd and further afield from the 'gong up to the central coast, a ride first tends to work better. Your mileage may vary down there in Vic...

If and when you get a ride going on, I'd love to hear your exploits, stories, photos, maps of routes etc. As you guys have the best bike race track in the country, and I am making a habit of riding to it, I'd love to know more about some of country Vic's hidden roads - Heather and G both helped us out on the wsbk trip (Granya Road is certainly high up in the top 10 roads for me),it'd be good to get more info from you guys sharing your experiences.

Same goes for the rest of you in all states - meanie, egas, bazz, there's a good chance you'll see a few of us next year for turismo, better start preparing - and for you qld'ers same goes - loony looking at you for some local insights, particularly towards the boarder and hinterlands - I've spend a fair amount of time in northern nsw, and the roads in sth qld look awesome as well.

ok, I'm off my soapbox now - back to your regular programming  waytogo

Oh Spider, you have a bike, congrats mate. Does that mean you'll stop coming over in the middle of the night and stroking mine - yes I know what you do.
