I'm not sure what the head speed is...around 1800 rpm I think...so it makes cool noises

yeah, i know...   the point being, it's not gas, so how well does that work outdoors?

The blade 400 is nice..I have the Heli Max cpv3..its pretty good as well. I think these are the only thing more exspensive than a Ducati!

It isn't quite the size of the larger gas powered ones, but it holds it's own pretty damn well in winds up to 10-12...I haven't tried any higher than that, as I just got it the other day.

The battery pack will last 6-7 minutes it seems. I'll probably get a little larger packs...I hear you can get 10-12 min with a little larger battery. I have 2 batteries right now though, so I can get some flying time in.


The one I bought before was a joke compared to this...chinese made crap. It was called a Esky Honey Bee. Everyone one on a RC forum I frequent thinks they are the cats meow, but you were constantly fighting to keep it in the air...this one has non of that

i would think the battery powered choppers get smacked around outside, but good to know.  always wanted to go for it but didn't want to get in over my head, expensive hobby
