Are you actually gonna be there at 8:30 a.m. in Saratoga? I hope this isn't one of those superbike jock rides where I get all lost on the route. I haven't been in a ride group in a long long... long long (insert Harrison Ford quote here from the movie Six Days and Seven Nights) long time. I'll go if someone from this ride shows up at Saratoga at 8:30 a.m. Gee that means I have to get up at around 5:00 a.m.... (sounds just like work!)

**UPDATE:  MODIFIED ROUTE... http://tinyurl.com/ot6ryt .  We will be combining this with a few other Ducs from our nice friends at BARF....http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4994395#post4994395**

Thanks again to sick50ford for organizing the last Duc ride. Unfortunately, the weather Gods weren’t with us to accommodate the original route of 9-35-SantaCruz-152-etc and we ended at Mt Hamilton (great ride nonetheless). A few people have shown interest in hitting up a similar route to the original plan this time around.

Revised info:
Date: Saturday May 30
Time: Leaving STP (across the street from Alice’s) at 9:45
Route:http://tinyurl.com/ot6ryt

Meet at STP at 9:30, kickstands up at 9:45. Two south bay meeting options: Woodside Chevron at 9:00, or 76 in Saratoga at 8:30.  I will be at the Saratoga 76 at 8:30.  Other sf/east bay options can be organized depending on who else may be interested.

The total ride time should be around 4 hours with the actual ride taking closer to 5 1/2 hours with stops and lunch.

Note: if the weather is crummy like last Sunday morning…as in you need to use your palm to clean your visor every 10 seconds and can’t see beyond 100’, there will be a Plan B (tbd) route.

Any takers?  [moto] Post up here or on the Biz-ARF thread.

I see a 1098 Streetfighter in your future.

Not sure where you're riding in from that it takes 2-3 hours to get to the meeting point, but yes, at least 2 of us will be there.  Also, if you're unfamiliar with the route, I recommend reviewing the link posted in the 'Route'.  The pre-ride to the actual meeting spot is not too complicated...up Hwy 9 for 7 miles, then north on 35 for 14 miles.

Can't make it.  The steaming pile of shit I call a motorcycle is going back to the dealer yet again on Saturday.

Anybody want to buy an 848?

Yes. Price?

it's turned into a combined dealio...a few people from here - few from across the street.

don't jinx it man...don't jinx it.  Lips Sealed Lips Sealed

it worked out a-okay last weekend with the 12 of us.

oh, and DTM's antics anywhere near the dirt, don't impact (pun intended) the crash ticker?

spidey ... lighten up on the elitist position ... not everyone on BARF is a twat or a squid.  we gotta stop the hating against others on two wheels ... save the hate for the cagers, right?  waytogo

It's elitist to talk smack about BARF because they're not all twats or squids?

 popcorn

Drove within a few miles of one of the meeting areas on my way into work today...it's foggy and overcast but not wet.  Woo Hoo!  No worries though - the $h!t's burning off pretty quickly and hopefully isn't sogged in like last weekend.
