how much did they hurt your cornering clearance? Also WASH THAT BIKE!!!!
Cornering clearance is definitely reduced, but not by a significant amount. The MFW racing footpegs are somewhat shorter than the standard ones, so the impact isn't as bad as I'd feared. And on the plus side, if you really need more clearance - it just takes an Allen Key and about 30 seconds to adjust the footpegs and get that clearance back. So that's not a huge issue, and in my opinion, well worth it for the benefits of being able to fit on the bike properly.
And it's Winter down here - washing is futile!
I've also discovered the hard way that doing the tailchop in the lead up to winter was not a great idea
