My insurance company is throwing a fit about the distance between Lubbock and AMS Ducati in Alvarado (outside of Dallas/Ft.Worth).   They are trying to get me to give my Duc to the local Honda shop for them to make an estimate and "repair".

If anyone will be making this trip, and would have the means my Duc could use a ride.

Just curiuos, why would they care where you take it? Is the problem the distance from Lubbock you are traveling or are they throwing a fit over the $100/hour service rate at AMS? I can see the hissy-fit over the hourly rate but why would they care which Duc shop you take it to. Guess they should be glad you aren't taking it to Pro Italia or Ducati Seattle! laughingdp The again, maybe their rates are cheaper! popcorn

I live in Lubbock Texas.  The Nearest Ducati Shop is either Oklahoma City, or Dallas/Ft. Worth.  Both right at 5 1/2 hours drive.  It's the distance.
