I bought a 2009 696. Thanks to all that posted in my original thread. I appreciate the advice and opinions! Yeah, I know, I need a new t-shirt!

Welcome to the club!

Now to remove the reflectors and frame stickers (i just re-stuck them under the seat.)

My last bike was a Thurxton.  I have that same Triumph shirt and love confusing people by wearing it when I am out riding my 696.  :D

Is there an unwritten rule you must wear matching brand name logo?

Brand loyalty, not that important.

I wish I could remember the comedian making fun of bikers with their matching colour bike and gear.   [laugh]
620M 2004 Dark i.e.; ~ 57K miles (all me);  Looking to swap out engine now.
Triumph Speed Triple 2006 (now ~ 44K miles bought @ 4K miles on 04/2010)
Honda Grom 2015 ~ 3500miles so far.  Love this lil bike
