Off to the races, folks.

Word on the street is that Matt might not be able to race on Sunday, due to injuries from the crash last round.  We'll wait and see (and wish him luck), but if he's out...  we should be looking good for another podium finish.

No Datv, Spidey, DTM or Alex racing this weekend.  Could be a lonely one, folks.

Cheers,
Tiggy

If we weren't headed down to San Luis Obispo this weekend for a graduation (Mike Solis') we'd probably consider coming up for this one.  That's just too much traveling though.  Good Luck!

Fack.  I was planning on riding up on Sun, oh Stevie-boy, but I have an appellate brief that refuses to write itself.  Bastid.

Good luck, dude.   [moto]

Ya know, if you wrote that brief while riding the Monster up I don't think your riding would suffer too much from the multitasking. Your lawyerin' either Grin

Tigre just posted a 1:54.8 at T-Hill.  That's faster than everyone but Parriot, Green and Montano at last year's September round.  Pretty good company.

It'll be an interesting round, for sure.  Matt Green is riding hurt.  Rickey Corey is joining with Chaz Davies' Aprilia Mille.  Parriott might join in the fun, too.

...  just when I finally signed up for all the delicious contingency money.  Grrrrr....

Haven't gotten back up to speed today, yet.  FIrst session out I threw down a 1:57.  Second session there was grease sweep out of 122 all the way through the entrance to 14 (due to some chump who blew a motor).  I slowed down -- many people maintained their pace or sped up, so we'll see what I can do in the next session -- I'll be a little less tentative.

Yesterday, I blew threw *2* rear tires.  Each was in good shape with one day on them.  I made some changes to my setup and raised my air pressure in the rear.  Today my tires are looking good after two sessions.

I'm trying to get away with running a medium during the races, given that the high temperature is expected to be mid-70s.  Can't ask for much better weather at Thunderhill in June!

Cheers,
Tiggs

1:54.6 on the official AMB timer.  Smiley

Ricky Corey (Ricky Bobby?) was only at 1:54.0.  Craig Smith was high 1:53's.  Could be good.  If I can get away with Craig at the start, I could be in the hunt.  Goal is to check-out immediately with Craig and hope that Corey gets held up for the first few turns getting through traffic (that's a lot to ask -- but a girl can dream, right?).

Werd.

Tigre go 1:54.7 in 750SB.  7th or 8th.

Tigre go boom in Open Twins.  He's ok.  Bike is done for today (at least).

He said he lowsided in 3rd place.  I assume it was 'unassisted.'
