"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

A 20 year old bike is not "just like new", I don't care how good the condition is.

Rips, tears, scratches, and scuff marks do not give your item "character".

Bad photographs do not make your item "must see".

Wouldn't his photos make the item "Can't see"?

Just because you have $40,000 "invested" in your Harley, doesn't make it an "investment". If it is such a great investment, why are you asking $10,000 for it?

Posting pictures is almost as easy as posting the ad. If you're selling a motorcycle, You should have at least 3-4 full-bike pictures and 4-5 close ups of the engine, brakes, tire, gages, etc

"Don't use the words 'Estate Sale' unless you actually know what it means."
So many sales on the local Cl are marked as Estate Sales - I don't think people know what it means but they think it will sell their items faster. It kinda caught on and they aren't giving it up...

Yeah, gotta hate that NOT in front of everything. What good does it do to draw people to your auction if they aren't your intended buyers? Are you getting paid per page view? I think not...
