Here was part of the email .............

"i was going on bestic st. to work, this tosser indicates right then moves into the right turn lane then turns left and hits me on the rh side, pushes me around the corner. i was stuck under my bike, which was stuck under the car and the wanker wouldn't reverse the car off of me. he got out of the car acting like a hardman, i opened my mouth and he was in tears in under a minute, cops give me a bollocking for that. my knee is quite badly swollen still and the inside of my thigh looks like a rape victim's(as seen on svu,i might add)"

I wonder if the  Police will give him a "bollocking" ?? Probably not as past history would indicate !  Roll Eyes

After all, YOU were riding the bike, and somehow MUST have caused the traffic conflict, and then dreadfully upset this poor man.  Roll Eyes

Hope you heal up nice and quick. waytogo  drink For medicinal purposes of course.  Grin )

Why is it that we are always held responsible and get a bashing by people at an accident site.
Hope your friend heals up well, did the other driver get booked for making a turn left from the right lane.

I know what its like to get blamed for an accident. The Cops said to the insurance company that I was in the wrong and the driver didn't turn in front of me from the LH lane. They couldn't prove it so didn't issue me a ticket but I did have to pay the insurance excess.

Hope you friend heals up well and gets back out there asap!

He's fine. He's a great big fouled mouth Sheffield geyser
Insurance assesed $5500 damages and did not write it off as the market value for the gixxer was 11k.
It's on it's way to collide-a-scope right now.
I think he was hoping for a payout so that he could get his big banger R1 with the new fancy piston arrangement.

He obviously didn't read the latest Austest result in MotorCycle. Rated the R1 a bit of a disappointment compared to the hype!
