I really want to ditch my stock pipes and have always intended to get high pipes (or an ExBox but they are too $$$)
I have been looking at the Mivv GP-style high mounts for my '02 M750S but I now have a Ventura rack system.

The rack system sits very close to the frame and Im afraid the pipes will not fit.  Anyone have any good pictures/videos of the Mivv GP high mounts installed on a Monster showing the sides and back?  I want to see how much room is available once the pipes are installed.

Thanks!

I don't know if I have seen any bike pics with that MIVV setup.  You might be able to contact PJ @ www.pjsparts.com and get a little info on it.  They are a MIVV dealer and always happy to help with part info.

They do look good on that 696, but I'd like to get some pics of them on the older i.e. double swinger Monsters if possible.

I contacted PJ's Parts a few weeks ago and this was their reply.

We don't know how closley the pipe hugs the frame, and I don't know that MIVV could answer the question with any certainty.   It might be a safe bet to go with the low mount and avoid having a clearance issue.  The Gp pipes do run cool to the touch, so heat shouldn't be an issue, but they just may not work together.

Thanks and let us know if there are any other questions we can answer,
 PJ & Paige

I havent tried asking Mivv directly yet, but I figured an easy way to figure this out was to see better pictures of them installed than the stock picture.

I guess Ive decided to go with the GP-style low mounts.  That way I know they wont interfere with my Ventura rack and my saddlebags wont touch the pipes.  Ill post pictures once I get it all installed.

Sorry I can't help with any pictures.  Might be a moot point by now but have you asked Ventura for their opinion?  Got to be some MIVV/double sided swing arm pics out here somewhere.  Have you tried posting in the general monster section?  My guess is that it will work, but it's just a guess  Roll Eyes
