Need help here.   So my left stock mirror finally SNAPPED off during a ride at about 60 MPH+. Shoved it in jacket, but prolly shoulda let it GO  bang head

Found these on Ebay and need help.   I have Rizoma bars AND bar end/sliders I wanna KEEP, so limited to mirrors I can put on.

The guy here says he has an optional 1" adapter to mount these to bars-anyone know if they will work or not on mine?

Here are mirrors

Here are my bars/bar ends/sliders

THANK YOU!

If you can move your grips inboard on the bars then these mirrors will fit BETWEEN your grips and your bar-end weights.... but the 1" adaptor isnt going to help..... 1" is about 25mm and the outside diameter of your Rizoma bar-ends is 28.5mm, so no can do.

Yea.. you can can make it happen - but it'll be a bit of a hassle.  If you don't want to use the bar ends pictured on ebay- then you need to free up some bar space...

If the hassle outweights the cost... Rizoma makes some mirrors that will fit right on your bar ends...

Though not a flash (nor expensvie) my 620 had a set of these

Mounted inside the controls.  Though I couldn't see directly behind me, they had a shockingly good field of view.

What do you mean the mirror "snapped off" during a ride? No previous damage to it? If that's the case, get it replaced under warranty and maybe sell off a fully functioning pair to offset the cost of the Rizomas...

it's a known problem that the reverse threads can come loose due to wind resistance.  Several people have had an issue with the stud stripping out, I believe.  She's the first one I've heard of to actually have it come flying off, but doesn't surprise me.

Hmm, odd, they used the same reverse threads on the last generation Monster with no issues...

The threads are actually OK believe it or not.  A bushing came out and molded plastic crappy frame cracked.  We kept tightening, until we could get it in to dealer same time as service coming due BUT after all this time and tweeking and thread locktite and glue and......   I will take it in tomorrow to show dealer, forgot to take it in when dropped off bike.  AND forgot to mention it. Not sure they will give me replacement-would think they should but.....

Yeah, it flew off TWICE. Once on hubby who caught it mid air literally. Second time I was trying to adjust it back down as it kept slipping upward and off and if finally just dropped into hand.
Dang....had hoped not to lose bar-end sliders. Will chek those other mirrors out tho, thanks!

Rizoma Class Retros and Rizoma Reverse Retros are designed to fit on those bar-ends of yours.

I had one of my crg mirrors snap off during a ride.  I only discovered that it was missing when I came to a stop.  I had to get a used one to replace it.  I believe it may have gotten loose and I did not even think of asking for warranty replacement in hindsight   bang head

uggg!    Well, I had to send in bad mirror for warranty, so this may not have worked well for you afterall?

Waiting for replacement, then will sell both to get some cash to go towards new mirrors.

I've mentioned this else where, but my Duc shop credited me about $85 a mirror
on my 696. Ducati Knows the bushing falls out of the plastic. Just gripe a bit louder
and you will get them for free!!

Yeah you have the correct bar end for either of the Rizoma mirrors to slide right on. Reverse retro has been a huge seller for us. They are really nice, so I'd say worth saving the money if you can! Though I'd spend the money on track days first too!!!
