Long story short.  I ended up with Gold levers/red adjusters on Monster.  I had ordered BLACK with red adjusters, but hubby decided he did not like HIS Gold levers on Speedie and swapped them!!!!!   >:(

It was interesting to learn we CAN swap the lever ends out on different bikes tho, btw.

Is there anyone out there who wants the GOLD levers and has black for even trade???!

THANK YOU!

Just swap 'em back in the dead of night...
"I don't know how *that* happened..."

You might try a post in the parts section too...
Or look up an anodizer and jut have them refinished.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Swap them back in the middle night and say someone stole the gold levers cause they thought it was real gold, but the white bike looked prettier so he put the black ones back on the white bike.

And then say aliens did it in the middle of the night.

i'm not any help - but that gold looks BALLER on the white bike  [thumbsup]

is that a GOOD thing?   [laugh]
I just think they look too blingy.  I did see a 1100S for sale at Melillimoto in Ocala yesterday and it had gold forks and rims these would work perfectly with, but Sebastian didn't seem interested.

I really wanna do more of a unique Tri-color theme on this bike also.

Looked into re-anodizing, may be cheapest option.

I'll keep waiting here a bit tho. THANKS all!

FYI "Baller" = "Blingy"

...think Christian Audiger tee shirts with rhinestones and overly "iced" watches.  Oh and escalades with extremely oversized rims.

Oh come on - alittle bling every here and there is healthy, esp. if its on the small parts like shorty levers that are covered while riding anyway (right??)

I second the "who is Christian Audiger?" comment. Sorry - not a celeb/designer/person follower.

"the dog's balls" is a more appropriate example. [cheeky]

A real baller is a bassetball playa.

I think the actual etymology is from the British "footballer"

Not exactly the most reliable of sources I'm using to back up my FHE but, honestly, I doubt the bassetball jonesin' ghetto boyz who popularized street ballin' even knew that soccer was called football somewhere in the world. [laugh]
